I pulled out in front of someone today and gave my truck a fat lip. The grille and bumper will need to be replaced, but thankfully my new headlights and fog lights were spared and nobody was injured, except my ego a little. A first time for everything.

    Added rock lights today.

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01ABPGAUC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

There are 12 lights, 6 on each side mirroring each other.

I was a bit strategic in my placement. This one is angled a hair forward for approach illumination.

This part of the frame has a slight upward angle to it, pointing the light towards the back of the front tire.

A nice flat area in the center of the sliders to fill in that middle ground.

These are angled inward a bit on the crossmember to illuminate directly under the truck.

this part is angled towards the front of the rear tire, which also protects the light, being nice and tucked up.

And finally, some nice axle illumination.

Very happy with the finished product.

Taco and I worked hard today. Lots of idiots on road today which Taco deftly avoided. I think I will treat Taco to a tank of premium next fill up.

    I do not. Sorry.
I don't take good notes for others when I hack things together... my colleagues complain about it all the time. :)

I can try to explain it tho.

The rear part is this: https://www.amazon.com/Upgraded-Ver...nhan+quick+charge+usb+3&qid=1619148309&sr=8-4
There are others just like it that do not have the voltage display and the on/off button.
I wanted a separate voltage display because I have a secondary battery and I ran the rear adapter to that battery and not the main truck battery.

The rear center console one was pretty easy.
There isn't a lot of room back there to install it though, it can't go many places, find what works. I used the upper right corner (looking from the rear seats).
I took the rear center console out, you only have to open the center storage and take all your junk out, then lift the little carpet piece at the bottom.
IIRC, it's 2 screws and that back piece will come out.
I then got a step drill bit and drilled out a hole up to almost the size of the USB adapter.
I then enlarged the hole slightly by carefully running a small round file, by hand, around the hole until I could just fit the adapter in.

As far as wiring it, I had it easy, I have a secondary battery system, ham radios, dashboard linux computer, and other associated wires from that running all over the place, so I just tapped into one of those.
If you need to though, you could run some wires forward through the "between the seats" center console (which you will see is not hard to remove at this point).
There is a decent tap into a "mostly hot" 12 volt wire behind the radio (and probably several other places, I tend to create new circuits for each new accessory though).

I hope that helps! (even a little)
You can DM me any more questions you have if you like. :)

The small red paper filter you see on the left side of his picture. It replaces a cap that's normally there and allows you to remove the internal foam filter that purportedly can disintegrated and get ingested into the engine, leading to a very bad time.

Essential? Probably not. But also inexpensive and gives some peace of mind.

The part with the adhesive is flexible, I'm thinking to conform to curves in a dashboard should you mount it there. It fits tight to the glass, just clean the glass before sticking it on.
