I've looked at those scan gauges before. Anything the scan gauge can do that torque app Pro can't do?

 

We know of a few that went back. Either into a void called KTJO 4x4 Customer Service Dept or boomerang'ed to the next unsuspecting customer with a bit of Sharpie over the "OEM" stuff.

 

I'd $5 on the shitty one I sent back is mounted in someone's truck by now

Nah. It really seems their PID list is severely lacking. It's kinda nice that it comes on automatically and doesn't have to be charged etc.

 

I'm just glad I eventually got all my money back.

Gotcha. I have the 4cyl auto and I think I've had an 8ft utility on it 4 times with maybe 1000lbs total. So trans temp isn't really a huge issue for me. Would be nice to watch trans temp and an actual digital coolant temp for when I'm overlanding. But ccan't remember if the torque app pro does trans temp.

I believe Torque does. OBD Fusion definitely does.

 

The TorquePro apps can actually display more than the scangauge and ultragauge. The huge advantage of the UG and SG though is that they are always there to display the info, without tying up your phone. Always plugged in, always charged. I tried using the Torque Pro as my go-to display, but ended up hating having my phone always tied up, so went with the Ultragauge unit, which I love.

 

I have a mishimoto trans cooler and the lingenfelter rad fan, so if something goes amiss I definitely wanna be aware of it.

 

Same. The fusion app has HEAPS more pids. It's kinda of annoying to be honest.

 

Unlike on my Subaru with $12k in the engine.......i"ve got all the gauges everywhere
