You guys should try Costco's auto program as well. Great experience with my dealer, and if my truck doesn't end up coming I can bitch at Costco AND Toyota customer service. More hands in the pot, more pressure.

First-time post, first-time Tacoma, and whatnot. I picked up a 2021 Limited DCSB MGM Nightshade 1.5 weeks ago.

    MSRP - $42,080
    Nightshade with options - $1,650
    Console Safe - $359
    Predator Tube Steps - $649
    Delivery, Processing - $1,095

    Total - $45,833

Not sure if too much or right on the money of what others have paid. I haven't seen many Nightshades on here.

I bought my 19 Limited at Toy of Vancouver in Feb of 19, before this covid crap, got off somewhere around 10%, paid somewhere around 37. Went pretty well, did the walk off several times until I got my price. To get my price took about an hour and that included driving it twice, once with ECT off and once with ECT on. I told them "I bought my last one in Portland, dont make me go back there, I live here but will go over there. Dont make me do it" And not a heavy push at the "warranty" guy. Was pretty happy, and I HATE buying cars. About 2.5 hours start to finish IIRC.

Totally agree. Prices are getting up there. Got my TRD OR in September 2019 for $33,500. MSRP was $38,900. Was originally going to wait for a 2020 but started seeing how much they were going to be compared to the price I could get a 2019 for and couldnt pass up the savings. Didn’t care that much about a power seat. Haha.

You're the second person to recommend them, and Wilsonville seems to have told me the truth about "factory orders" so I think they are my next stealership.

Hmm. Perhaps this is the perfect time to sell my 2019 DCLB TRD Off-Road 4x4 with 15,500 miles. :)

I've been looking at buying a 5th wheel, and as much as I love my Tacoma, it just doesn't have the necessary payload or towing capacity. :(

I used the program and it was fantastic. No bull, got exactly what I wanted at $250 below invoice.

I am curious if dealership obligate to follow Costco program price?
They don't even have much inventory, sell at MSRP or above, why would they follow Costco price, unless they must* ?
    Anyone know for sure ?

I have used the Costco program twice, 15 years apart. The agreement with the dealership is a contract, which can be renegotiated monthly, but whatever the agreement is, must be followed. When I put my deposit down on 9/21/20 the deal was $250.00 over invoice, and when I took delivery in December, 2020 it was $250.00 under invoice. The contract must be followed, which does not mean the dealership cannot exclude certain models from the agreement, but that rarely happens. The dealership MUST follow the agreement. In return it gets all those great Costco referrals.

My 21 Tacoma TRD off Road sticker price was 41,000. Got a deal too good to pass up though. Wife was ready to kill me, but now I’m pretty sure she will if I don’t stop buying accessories for it.
