    I think 75-80 mph @ 6k for the taco. I'll have to check again... damn long gear ratios...

    Edit: 97 mph @ 5700 rpm :rofl::rofl:

    One of our customers brought this wheel in. Apparently it had some rash on it and he welded it and wants the lathe man to reclaim it.

    Turns out it is Falcon 9 rocket launched from Florida this morning. I thought it was odd is why I pulled over and got a picture.

    It was neat, just looking at it it looked like it was still. When I zoomed in with my phone you could see it moving. Had I known what it was I would have tried to video it. I pulled into a side street and there was a car coming so I had to rush.

    When I was in Georgia I saw something that I thought might have been a Falcon 9. Looked at their launch schedule and there wasn't anything listed for that day so it was just a plane. :laugh:

    Yeah, they tried looking in Washington D.C. but no luck!

    I went out this morning to look for it, Space X, but guess I am a little to far north to see it.

    When I lived in Orlando, Shuttle night launches were cool to watch. Day were OK, you could see the tail but not as impressive as the fire at night.

    I'm not sure how common they are, but this was a first for me and I've been around tools most of my life. Yesterday I was helping a good friend work on his trailer when he broke out a magnetic Drill Press. Have any of you ever used one, I spent the rest of the day thinking of ALL of the past projects that I could have used it for.. I don't do enough of those to justify buying one now, but what a cool tool....

    I would have loved to see one growing up, maybe someday, but we watched most of them on TV and always found the launches and arrivals fascinating. A few years ago they flew one of the shuttles around the area on the back of a plane and got to see that, which was pretty cool.

    I got to see the one that went to Los Angeles, that was cool as well
    The coverage of moving from LAX to the Science Center was typical LA over the top, but the dolly system was cool
