literally me right now

only had the air on once since it requires electricity to run. that was the one night last summer i slept in the driveway because my apartment was near 100* when i got home

 

I knew that all my hard work cleaning and polishing yesterday wouldn't last forever but I'd hoped to get at least 48 hours out of it!

 

also, yesterday while i was out working on Chebby my neighbor across the street came home for his lunch break. that's his giant 5th wheel in the pic. the local PD "code enforcement" folks came by and left a note that his camper needed to be moved or it could be towed and he'd receive a fine. they just got it out of storage a couple weeks ago and they've been moving in for the summer and hes been working on it adding solar panels and stuff. now the only reason they'd come down a residential street is if someone complained. the neighbors adjacent to him have more vehicles than they have space for and both of us are pretty sure that it was them that called the PD to complain because they've been having to park one of their vehicles either in front of my place or down the street. AND they have a small camper that is still in storage. the PD was at least a little understanding and told him to just move it a couple of feet and they'd call it good. they had spray painted a little mark on the road next to the rear axle. so on his lunch break yesterday he had to take the time to hook up the camper and move it 2 feet. i asked him if he wanted me to double check it was 2 feet with a tape measure just to be sure so ridiculous...
he did take before/after pics showing the painted mark and the tires. i had my little scrub brush that i use on my wheels and i told him that i was going to scrub out the painted mark and put a new one where the camper is now so it looks like he didn't do anything. he started laughing and told me not to be a troublemaker

 

I don't know but I'm getting awfully tired of her and her mood swings!

he's one of my good neighbors. nice guy comes over to check on me if he sees me tinkering with the trucks or camper. i think he and @Tacoma Mike would get along. He's a mechanic too, used to work in the stock car circuit. He's set to retire in a couple of years and they're planning on the camper being their full-time home, do the snowbird thing.
