I’d buy from somewhere close to you.... I have ryobi stuff and bought the big battery’s so I’d probably do a ryobi if I was looking for one.... I’m in the market for a cordless impact... probably look at the depot and see what they offer.... gotta take off mower blades.... I been transporting one from work all the time... ir 3/8 cordless 20v with the “big” battery.... takes off blades no problem!! But they pricey.... so I may try cheaper and see... I take it back if it don’t do the trick.

My ex wife was............shall I say, steering challenged, I was mowing, stopped it and ran into the house to use the loo, I didn't let her use the rider because, well, she was accident prone. Next thing I hear is screaming so I shake and run outside and somehow, she has driven the mower up the huge old oak tree until she fell off the back and the hitch part of the mower caught and lifted the rear tires off the ground so it didn't come all the way over and land on her. She was very lucky. How she perfectly centered the wheels on the tree and then drove up it........I'll never know. She never got on it again.

Now the kiddo's brand new mini bike and what she did,.......that is a story for another time.

A friend of mine, his first wife got killed by a mower. Turned it over and it got her head. Took him a long time to get past that.

Ryobi had a new Brushless 1/2” impact that puts out about 650ft, not earth shattering but it does the job.
I’ve got a lot of Ryobi stuff, I don’t need to be cool I just need to do a job.
At that, Yellow and Red tend to attract unwanted attention because of what they are, Bright green Isn’t as attractive because it isn’t “cool”.

This is certainly true. I came to the conclusion that Red nor Yellow make the weed wacker I want.

I am looking at this: https://www.greenworkstools.com/pro-80v-cordless-16-inch-string-trimmer-2101102

Yikes. I need to order the ROPS for mine. Wife is afraid I'll roll it on myself.

I've got a love / hate relationship with ROP. I keep hitting tall shit when I forget it's raised. Hit the front of the 5th wheel camper...

    Twice.

Wear your seatbelt, ROPS is useless if you don’t stay inside the hoop
Maybe some curb feeler type things to help out ?

As expensive as these things are, it seems a simple level sensor could trigger the raising of the ROP.

Yes, seat belt is a must.

Don't really have anything to mow under, keep trees trimmed up etc. Just don't want to roll it into the lake and get pinned.

A dear friend of ours, older guy a few years ago was mowing and turned his tractor over. Had rops, and his seatbelt on. He actually called his wife and told her what happened and she called 911. They flew a bird in and picked him up, he was so old and fragile he died at the hospital later that night from internal injuries.

Not trying to be Debbie downer but be careful out there!!!!

Looks like a decent slope there. Does OK? Some of the reviews knock them for not so great on hills.
