All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

Sorry guys, i didnt mean to cause any friction.
Just really was a PSA to the knife shoppers here on TW... was not trying to badmouth BladeHQ.

Was the best card theft i have had yet!
Having been informed by BladeHQ i could take action before the skimmers got any charges on my card.
Went to bank, they killed the old card, printed up a new card (debit card) and i was on my way.

I need to stay out of this thread, makes i guy spend money...at least i am a cheapscape...a couple of you guys probably have to have knife insurance. lol

Here were the offenders, bunch of junk i didnt need...

Some of the "mass production" companies do runs for makers with limited quantity.
    Reate
Medford for the the Strider AR
Medford or Strider made to order
Spyderco is always doing dealer specials and sprint runs
    Fox knives
    Liogn Mah designs
    Olamic cutlery

    That should get you started

    Just the basics
How could you leave Benchmade out of that list?

If you look at that list most all of them are going to be low production high quality knives where some will one off mid techs. Besides spyderco which I just threw that one in there just for the insane # of sprints and dealer exclusives. Benchmade doesn't even come close to touching spyderco in that arena

I'm warning you it's a downward spiral. If you really want to get crazy just listen to the knife nuts podcast. One of the guys makes knives and does batch runs his knives are super sexy and smooth. If you like the punisher look at the Chaves Redencion it's super slick

It started for me when a friend sold me a early 2000's handmade knife, then a cheaply handmade Damascus fixed, then a automatic, and a lot of money flew outta my wallet from there on. If I could start over, I'd wait till there is a gun show in your area, and you should see a lot of knives there and get to handle them. I was soo fixated on getting a Mcusta Damascus flipper, ordered it was kinda let down. My friend who sold me the knives, thinks spyderco's are ugly, yet respects my views on them being a fantastic user first not a piece of art. Once you see and handle many different companies product your taste may greatly change. That is what makes this a great hobby!
