    That was it!
Pilot is getting replaced, comes in the kit. I had added that in from LCE as well, before I decided to buy the whole kit.
Planned for TOB, pilot, and new bolts for PP and flywheel.

I think the ones I got from the LCE kit were ARP. I opted for all the things when I ordered it, just in case, and apparently flywheel bolts are one-time-use only.
Good looking out man! Got a lead on a $50 OEM flywheel I'm gonna have resurfaced as well, minimize trips for things and speed up the process.

:gossip: don't tell anyone I've reused my U-bolts though

Wait- you did your clutch 40k miles ago and it's already toasted? I'd definitely go with something heavier duty...

Lol, yes. I think I simply had a TOB failure. Or something out of whack that I never could see, hear, or feel until it was too far gone.

I'll be home in a few hours and I'll find them then. I may have gotten them through LCE since the price was better if I remember right. But I remember they specifically were ARP since I'm going as overkill as I can on this engine.

Anyone know the clamp force of the clutch? The 2 HD M-Pact kits on Rock Auto claim 2200 lbs.

Well I'll be dipped... the set I got are listed as OEM. I could've sworn I got ARP. But that's what I got from LCE

Dang! I missed a lot since I last looked. Not sure why yet but I think that it may be possible the 400hp break point of a 2tr internals is a little too high. Ive gave her hell for quite a while and never had a problem, AFR is always good and consistent. Turns out though if your towing 1500lbs and you pour the sauce on, the beans come spilling out at ~9pis & 4500rpms. Upside is that now I have a cool crank inspection window. Going to look at a core block today

if you look close youll see the rod laying sideways in the oil
little intrigued as to the actual failure point due to the fact that the rod came completely off the crank, wont know until it gets yanked out. didnt really want to do that until i at least have a stocker to put back in for daily driving

Are you running the tune provided by URD?

Correct. Tune by URD with about a 10% bump in 5th injector map clear down to 3850rpms where it starts to come on under boost

Man, this makes me want to change back to a more conservative tune. I am definitely interested in hearing what caused the failure once you're able to dig into it.
