Signed up simply to let everyone know that Toyota parts deal.com are thieves.
They sent me the wrong part (completely their fault) and refused to give me return/refund or exchange for correct part.
They charged me for the correct part and sent the wrong one.
I have researched a pattern of this type of dishonest business with multiple complaints just like mine.
I have reported them to the California State Attorney General.

Thanks for the note of sympathy.
I've filed a claim with BECU (my card) they are very good at getting back false charges.
The California State Attorney General has also been notified.
I joined this forum and post YouTube comments blasting the fraudulent business.
They will go down. I am determined.
I could have gotten the part that they sent me for $45.00.
They were the only supplier that advertised availability of SR5 "blue-grey" seat belt assembly.
This comes with a hazardous shipping charge that was removed mid shipment.
I have settled for oak color because that is the only color available for the charged assembly.
Giving Hamer Toyota a try. They show a picture of the correct part.

    Very unfortunate situation.

A lot of us unfortunately, have purchased from them, receiving only 98-99% of the correct parts.

Seems that they get parts sent to them from different parts dealers in order to fulfill said order, and sometimes, receive the wrong part, which in turn gets sent to the customer.

I ordered a few gaskets, crush washers, fill and drain plugs, seals, and other misc. items only to find that one of my drain plugs was meant for a Land Cruiser.

Chalked it up as a $6 loss, and still have that part floating around somewhere.

How long has it been since you emailed them about the problem?

I ordered stuff from them, got some very expensive extra parts. Took a couple weeks and emails back and forth to get them to finally understand i was trying to send them stuff back.

    Anyway, welcome

This is a known issue with ToyotaPartsDeal.com unfortunately.

They are a conglomerate site, finding you the best prices on the parts you want via a huge swath of dealerships in their network.

If you get the part you ordered, it's a great. But if they or the dealership the part came from messed up your order, they're virtually impossible to deal with.

Buyer beware with sites like that.

Better to just take more time to search dealerships websites for the best price and order from them directly. McGeorge Toyota is a popular one

I've used their site to find stuff before but never purchased because their prices are usually higher than Amazon once their shipping charges are added.

    UPDATE!
California State Attorney General sent a message to me and the seller.
    Received full refund simultaneously.
Sometimes it just takes a little leverage.
    No return shipping request.

    JUSTICE!

    Wow
    That sounds very inflammatory.
Sometimes research doesn't give full info.
They intentionally sent me the wrong part.
There's no dispute, they are not a legitimate parts source.
    Simple.
You're obviously way smarter than anyone else on this forum.
    Sorry for being so gullible.
Nobody else needs to know about the crooks because you think that everyone spends an hour to research a seller that appears to have good feedback.
    They are crooks

It took the California State Attorney General to get my money back in my account.
They have no intentions of making things right unless they are forced to.
    Integrity is not existent.

Hamer Toyota went out of their way to get the right color. Only had oak color in stock. Contacted me to let me know that they found the right part at the warehouse.
Correct part is installed and my air bags are functional again.
    THANK YOU HAMER TOYOTA!!
