What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Taking my truck out for the first time since the trans cooler and new alternator installs. liking the lower trans temp and higher charging voltage

 

Never noticed it until now but I agree.
There isn't any stylization (if that is a real word) or details from the front fender back to the rear of the 3rd gen.
It might be the angle of the photo too.

 

Great grip from the 255/35/19 rear tires.

 

I bought some LED lights from that guy on here who sells LED's. Chris I believe is his name csjumper2003. They have the resistors and work as should when you key is not in unlick the Amazon lights. I paid $38 i believe. Anybody interested in them for $25 shipped? x2 Red Map and x1 Bright white Dome light. I never installed them. Hit me up

 

Did you have to program the scan guage for your trans temp or is it there and I just didn't see it on mine

This is the x gauge code set I use to read trans temps:

TXD: 68 6A F1 01 B4
RXF: 04 41 05 B4 00 00
RXD: 28 08
MTH: 00 09 00 05 FF D8

Yea, you must program the scangauge with this code so it is capable of reading the trans temps in the data stream from the ECU to the ODBII port.

That’s badass man. I’ve thought of doing something similar with a rack build

 

Put my power outlets on a switch so I have the choice for them to be on regardless of ignition on or not.

Thanks! I got one last year because my coolant temp guage on the dash went out (nuts in the back of the cluster came loose and caused a fault) I've been pretty happy with it

 

Seems like the ideal bed rack for unruly children/animals
