    3-1 - 100% true... It can streak. I prefer the cermanic speed shine as a drying aid.

    Meguiars Ceramic Spray for me. It was among ceramic sprays tested in a recent post and did fine. The last thing I wanna do after laboriously applying wax by hand is to have to do more hand work for just maintaining my original. Spray on, rinse off, that’s it!

    This thread may have been my original reason to buy the Meguiar’s Hybrid and I still like it 2 years later. I sometimes apply a hard wax shell over top afterwards for some color depth and extra protection.

    back to bone stock.
    I went fishing with a dude. he made me help him spray down his bass boat with a cleaner/wax. it was a Lucas oil product.

    on a whim I decided to try the non-marine version for my truck. washed my truck, sprayed with Lucas and wiped it off. at a minimum, I got zero water spotting and streaks. my truck is newish, so rain beads up anyways. not sure if I even did anything. but the dudes boat is gleaming despite being 6 years old..and he said that is all he does. my truck is in the driveway all beaded up from this mornings rain.

    bonus..the sprays smell like Bazooka Joes bubble gum.

    A few yrs ago I switched from the meguiars sealant to turtle wax seal n shine. It’s really outdone the meguiars as far as protection and application goes. I really impressed with how long it will bead the water for a vehicle that’s outside 24/7.
    On eBay you can get 2 spray bottles of the seal n shine , direct from turtle wax with free shipping for a little over $21.00
