Damn, lot of previous B-Series owners here.

my first vehicle was a 99 B-2500 between my dad and me for 16 years.

Well... I prayed over my Taco today that it doesn't get hit with too many of these penny - golfball sized hail stones we are supposed to be getting soon....

That counts as a mod right?

I got a cheap cover, and 20 moving blankets. When there is a storm coming, I will cover the truck with 2 layers of moving blankets, then put the cover over the top and strap it down. Has kept my truck nice and safe in the past few hail storms.

I have had a garage up until recently and my apartments are finishing up the parking garage here in the next week or so. I have been debating on getting a cover and some spare blankets but just praying it can hold out for another couple weeks lol

A cover is a nice thing to have anyways. When I park my truck for extended times (if I go on vacation) I usually put on the cover just to keep it clean. But my garage is full of other cars right now, so I cant even park my truck in there.

Do you have a side pic of the truck with canoe on top? I've been thinking of getting a canoe in the future and i have the roof rack and softtopper. Does the canoe angle down in the back over the bed of the truck? Thanks

Wait, isn't the Mazda the same as a Ford ranger? When I bought my 97 Taco, I test drove the Ranger as well as the Dakota and Nissan.
The Ranger(same as Mazda) was smaller and did not feel nearly as nice as the Tacoma. Was there a difference- I mean besides the name plate?

On a side note:That was also when the New Dakota body first came out and they were flying out of the dealerships. The Dodge dealer told me "you'll be back". Well, anyone who knows me, knows that makes me never go back. Turns out I was glad I didn't buy that pos!
