Did any of you NC guys ever get over to Maggie Valley to the Wheels through Time motorcycle museum. I used to move pianos up and down the east coast and the guy had one in the museum he sold. It was a nickelodeon piano, which means its a player piano with a bunch of interments. The museum was really cool place if you haven't been. Here's a pic of a nickelodeon, you can see the other interments in the top. They use the old paper music rolls

 

Never been or heard of it.

 

That’s only the second one I’ve ever seen. Formerly had connections with a long time piano mover & he showed me one when he was Pickin’ Up one day. Cool pic, thanks.

 

I've seen it , but have never visited it.

 

Some neat old bikes. Not really sure what it costs to get in. Nice people we were there before opening time so got to walk around, got some free tshirts and stickers.

 

I've moved 6 or 7 of them, they are heavy. We had a guy in Maryland that would buy them and restored them. They're a pain to move and sucure in the truck with all the interments in them

 

There was an old piano in the basement of my house when i bought it. It took 4 of us to haul that thing to the dump.

 

Some of the old ones were bears to move. Some people just wanted trashed and we would dismantle them as much as possible before moving them. Believe or not we had 2 trucks running with 2 man crews

 

We pushed it off the trailer and it hit some sour notes tumbling down that mountain of trash.

 

changed the oil for the third time (hadn’t been ran in 2.5 years), my front yard is steep, but this time it did it in the back, which is not as steep. I have a riding mower that has never smoked while mowing, front or back.

 

I closed the store at 7, the wife is gone with a friend somewhere. I came out and Cole had his trailer on jackstands so we could pump up the tire. He also learned backing isn’t as easy as it looks. The smiles were worth it

 

Sadie was jumping like a horse.

 

It does my heart good to see a child in this day happy to get a trailer rather then a video game.

Find him a longer trailer to get the basics down.

The shorter the trailer we all know the faster it comes around.

 

Blue smoke? Black smoke? Like the carb float letting to much fuel in or oil smoke? Does it run different when smoking ?

 

Blue smoke like it’s burning oil, runs a little rough for 5-10 seconds then it clears out and runs fine
