I contacted the guy and asked him if he’d accept an offer for just the headers. He said he’d be open to it but when I mentioned I’m across the country and need it shipped he didn’t respond. I made a pretty generous offer so he probably does not want to deal with shipping.

Or maybe he just thought it was a scam.

I don’t know. That’s asking someone to do quite a bit.

For something that hard to find... I think it would be feasible but yeah it would take some trust and work. Unfortunately I am in northern cali or I would offer. It is for a 01-04 taco or cali spec 2000. Short connection of the headers for 2 cats

No clue. My thought is find one of our guys goes to buy it and ship it and whoever is buying it pays them the cost of the headers + shipping. Would take a fair amount of trust, but you would get the headers and shipped.

(probably do it for the cost of a couple 6 packs)

Anyone in CA interested in them should see if he has the CARB sticker for them, because the smog station will check. In fact they told me that my TRD headers were technically only approved for up to 2003 Tacomas which was weird, apparently there was some change to the 04s that made them not approved for CARB. My smog guy said he'd overlook it though, lucky for me lol

That doesn’t make any sense. I’m betting TRD and Toyota didn’t apply for them to be approved in 04 because thats before me they realized they failed at creating a performance program for enthusiasts and it was too hard for them so they gave up.

Maybe, I dunno what it was but the smog tech was cool enough to recognize that there's no real reason they shouldn't be approved.

I'm interested in them and and in the military and my truck is registered in Florida so no need for smog. I sent him a message. Hope I can get them up here to the bay area.

Sounds about right for trd headers. They’re getting more expensive as they’re the only legal long tube headers for our cali trucks. Jba are short iirc. I didn’t see a y pipe in the photos though. That’s the hard one to find

Engine will burn the rtv blow it out in the cat where it will be burnt to dust particles. Wont hurt the engine or cat. As long as it's O2 sensor safe. It's possible that maybe you nicked the gasket setting the SC down. Or the pressure from charger has caused an injector seal to start leaking.

JBAs are like they tried to go long-ish but couldn’t figure it out half way through and instead of restarting just half assed the rest.

This happened to me also. Pretty sure it’s the heat from the SC causing the APPS to wear out prematurely. Mine would cut out altogether and I would press on the accelerator and it would go again. Pretty annoying especially on the freeway. I researched as much as I could and ended up getting a used throttle body from a wrecking yard and it hasn’t done it again since.

I don't know the size, but I recently rented a fuel pressure tester from Oreily's and it fit right on the 7th injector fuel line T without any adapters.

Anyone know a good spot to connect a fuel pressure sensor on the rails? Also do we have a plug for oil pressure and temperature?
