for home use it is... ive owned a few of them in the past year. The snap on ratchet is the best one on the market but its $500 so home use is personally impractical in my opinion

I say it’s harder to shop for a UTV than it is a car. At least with a car you know you’re getting some level of reliability but with a UTV only name brands can guarantee a level of reliability. The off brands are a coin flip

 

Anyone know a good mechanic near buena/Vineland? GFs jeep has a cracked oil filter/cooling housing. And the job looks like a pain in the ass to do

It's actually a fairly simple job, just time consuming. To make it much less of a pain in the ass, trick is to swing the upper intake to the side rather than disconnecting everything at the throttle body.

Yo NJ people, heading to Bald Eagle State Forest for Memorial Day weekend Friday-Monday. Got two sites reserved and room for a few more rigs if anyone is interested. One can always reserve more sites too. Will have dual sports, atvs and general 4x4 shenanigans. Mellow trails and lots of booze. If your seriously interested hit me up. Self sufficient camping no amenities.

 

Ha you are the second person I know heading down that weekend from TW. I'll be there with two other guys with dual sports Thursday/Friday. What sites did you grab? Almost all the good sites closer to the dual sport trails were booked up even when I booked a couple weeks ago.

 

Got the Jeep back "fixed" Noticed a puddle of oil under the Jeep. Going to spray some brake clean on the underside of it hope its just residual that they couldn't really clean off. But if it's not I'm gonna be pissed. Going to put UV dye in the oil to see if it's still an active leak.

 

A leaking jeep is a happy jeep, it's when there's no leaks you have to worry about oil starvation to the engine.

They can also slam into the back of a car stopped at light while going 45 and drive away unscathed, if they have a big ole steel bumper. That was a fun day.
