    Mornin' Bill.

Deer were out and o'plenty last night. First was was casually walking across the road without a care. Second one I was just going over the top of the mountain when I seen them. I was able to stop, but the oncoming truck was barreling down quick! Either they didn't see them or didn't care, but came within an inch of hitting a big one. Unfortunately at his speed it woulda bounced and hit my truck. I was flashing my high-beams at them, but not even a brake tap. Damn people.

I will say the weird thing on my truck is if it detects a panic stop it will stay on the brakes HARD. Goofiest friggin' thing...

Had it happen one time in the wife’s Corolla. We were on the highway with the radar cruise on (set at the furtherest distance) in the right lane. A dump truck came blasting down an on-ramp. I saw it but was probably at least 25 mph faster than it was at that time. I had to delay a second or so for a car in the middle lane to pass me. Just a 10th of a second before I could execute the lane change the Rolla decided I was closing in on the back of the truck too quicky. Boom....bells and brakes!

Gf and I came around a corner on our way to the ski mountain last night and came face to butt with a moose. Full size cow right in the middle of the road. Five years in Maine and it's the first moose my gf has ever seen.

She's mainly been in the central/southern maine area and never far from the beaten path. I'm from northern/western Maine and have seen more than my fair share. Hopefully some trips up to Rangely will cure her of the moose deficit

I can agree. Dusted off the side of a 90's F-250 with one a few years back. Ripped the steel door mounted tow mirror right out of the sheet metal.

Back in 2017 I avoided a head on and did a side swipe instead...heading south on 6/15 from Rockwood to Greenville. Most of the passenger side was repaired/replaced.

Evening fellas. Been a total shit show since I walked in at 20 after 12. I'm covered in grease and dirt. Luckily I have plenty of extra pants here...

I'd rather that than the severely stubbed/broken toe I gave myself around the same time today. Good luck with the clean up, dawn dish soap is a life saver for grease.
