    I added a bolt once...
Previous post shows new front window tint.
Today I started to debadge my 2014.

Pretty simple so far, light heat gun on badge, 30 lb. fishing line easily cuts through adhesive. Then a little goo-gone, Mcguires Ultimate Compound and done. I did order a new set of matte black badges. Will decide what if anything goes back on.

Headlights/fog lights. Straight pipe exhaust? Hopefully more mods to come
Today I broke stuff. smh. Currently working on converting ALL interior lights to purple LEDs and I messed up my climate control cluster trying to do the AC and Recirculation button. Ugh. So I got a all black one (slowly working on an all black interior as well) from a 2012 and I’m going to do the conversion and change the lights then.

Also I broke my passenger window control on the master controller. And now it won’t roll down. So idk if I blew a fuse, which I checked some and didn’t see any, or if when the little arm on the board broke it was stuck in the up position and burned out the motor for the window. I got a new switch control so if that doesn’t fix it then I’ll look at the motor.

On a positive note, it stuck in the up position.

Not necessarily what I did for my 2nd gen... But I grabbed my self a nice new pair of Orvis waders to replace my old beat up ones.
They will be spending a lot of time with my in my 2nd gen his year. :homer::jellydance:

The wife let me spend all this money on the truck and buy waders??? Something must be up... I know I'm going to owe something lol.

I bought some new Korkers at the end of the season in my 2nd Gen. Can’t wait to get out there and put them to use!

I've had my Korkers for the last four seasons and absolutely love them. The boa loops are amazing compared to having to lace up the boots. They are great when getting setup on the tailgate. It's nice to only have to step in and turn the knobs.

A small pointer with Korkers, tighten the boots to where they feel great while you're at the truck and then tighten them again before getting in the water. The boa's tension will settle a little bit during your hike each time.

Today was suppose to be a nice day but in Minnesota fashion its been raining all day. I got a list of stuff to do including a deep clean but don't have a dry place to do it. Temped to pull my awning out for a little help when I'm not under it.

Changed the rear diff. fluid the other day for the first time owning it. Also used the Milwaulkee Fuel impact gun I received as a gift from the kids. The gun worked as hoped; eliminating using pipe extensions to brake bolts loose! Guess it needed changing?

Decided to install my tent for the season. The mounts I made worked out pretty well and will probably secure it better than the crappy flat steel plates that the tent came with. I should however trim the bolts down a little bit. Ordered a 3rd brake light from Amazon that will be here Monday so I can keep the man happy.

Today, Saturday, I removed the lights from behind my upper grill. Made a custom bracket to hold them behind my lower grill. Then I installed my "Raptor" lights in the grill, more custom brackets and lots of wiring.20210424_144150.jpg 20210424_135623.jpg 20210424_135018.jpg 20210424_132319.jpg 20210424_114529.jpg

Unless I’m missing something my ‘08 Tacoma standard cab does not have DRLs. I bought and installed LED Amber parking lights hoping it would make a big difference however as you can tell I really can’t tell much of a difference, if any. Has anyone come up with a way to add DRLs to the Tacoma base truck?
