It does. And it’s not chrome. It’s plastic. So even more tacky.

That's interesting. I figured most aftermarket wheels pretty much pushed the tire out more than stock. I just got the trd pro wheels and they push the tires out right to the hairy edge of the wheel wells. I think the wider stance looks good on it. Go fot it!

Now you gotta remove that front wind dam and give it the more agreesive look it deserves. Just curious, does it rub the new tires/wheels?

We are lucky to have a great member here who does a ton of research and backs it up with data. Do your own research for sure :)

Headlight thread (my take: all drop in LEDs are pretty poor. You’re going to have glare and blind other drivers due to poor cutoff induced by LEDs [thick] in a projector designed for a filament [thin]. Either modify phillips h9 or buy OEM LED assemblies. I went with H9 and it’s a huge improvement):

Foglight thread (my take: all drop in LEDs are pretty poor. I went with DiodeDynamics SS3 Pro and I’m extremely happy):

Say what you want. My Hikari LED headlights provide better night vision with excellent cutoff. Picture is with only low beams.

I just wanted to say thank you @rdgm71 for posting the pictures and link for these center caps. I was able to get them cheaper and quicker from my local dealership, so I went that route.
I must say I like how they look on my Barcelona Red OR. I do want to mention though that for all you hardcore OCD folks, the blacks are not an exact match to the center caps you are removing. Here are a few pics in case anybody was on the fence.

Those wheels look really nice when painted black too. Would make it all tie nicely together. (just an OCD observation)

Got a clean set of FJ-Cruiser rims and Falken 245/75/16 tires on my taco last month, been meaning to post. Sold the aftermarket stuff locally. Kudos to Discount Tire!

I can't compete with some of these amazing trucks. But today I washed, de-ironed, and waxed my 2020 refrigerator white truck. Never had a white vehicle before, amazed at how much iron fallout it picked up in its first winter.

    I used:
    - Chemical bros car wash soap (standard mitt, two bucket blah blah)
    - Iron-X x2 applications (didn't clay bar, but two trips around got most of the iron bloom)
    - Turtle wax hybrid solutions ceramic spray (as recommended here)

That Iron-X is nasty stuff, but it does work pretty well. Smells awful. This was my first time with a ceramic spray and I was pretty impressed. Really easy to apply and buff off, and only got a few streaks on the grille and wheel arches that came off easily with a damp towel. Slick and smooth. I used Optimum Car Wax for a long time on my Golf R, but that car had a professional ceramic applied and so I didn't need it to do the full job of a sealant. Time will tell but it looks pretty good for now. Pics obviously don't do it much justice but I'll include one anyway.

81k - changed plugs (Denso FK20HBR8 x6), cabin filter, air filter, oil, metal oil filter housing (an improvement), fan belt.

The plugs were easy on the pass. side, a bit more work on the driver side. Moving the intake manifold aside was relatively simple and made for much easier plug access. Had one extra bolt (wiring bracket) so got some practice removing it twice.

After clearing the air intake, remove the manifold bolts and the three main bracket bolts and some hose/wiring attachment points and bungy cord it to the pass. side.

Just approach it methodically, listen to some Alan Watts pontificate on letting go of control, try to remember where the bolts go, curse quietly when scraping more of your skin off from the hose clamps and drink a beer when you're done. Added at least 20 hers pers... the plugs that is.

    20210424_141506.jpg

    Ummm... wait a sec...

    20210424_134458.jpg

Edit: spark plugs change was worth it. Seat of the pants shows truck pulling cleaner and slightly stronger now, steadier. Can hold 3rd (MT) for longer going up Little Cottonwood Canyon (SLC UT) in the steeper sections. Slight stumbling around idle-2k is gone. Still looking forward to Orange Tune for even more goodness.
