How many miles are on your tires? I assume MT’s?

 

Could it be a broken belt in a tire maybe?

Yea I bought @ovrlndkull bumper and @gixxerphil is bringing it to bama for me.

Cool deal I’ve never been that way.

 

Maybe 10k by now. 35 MTs.

Found it. Idiots put wheel weights where they’d hit the caliper. They’re ground down from hitting the caliper. Probably flung some off and that’s what’s throwing it off even more...

 

I’ve gotten several crappy tire balances around Pelham and alabaster area. Now I just take botb my tacoma and the 4runner to Hoover toyota use car service side for anything dealing with tires and alignments.

 

Yea my dealer scott crump Toyota does the best balance/alignments around me locally I guess they actually keep their machines in spec.

Thanks, I swapped my spare for the one that was hitting and it’s better, but not 100%. Definitely going to start there. Same folks at the same time that left out a crush washer so I’ve been very slowly dripping oil since then too

 

No doubt. They’ll make it right though. I hate I blew a grand on the rear wheel bearings though.

I had them ride along and they came to that conclusion too, but they didn’t have the press jig so I took it to the dealer for the fix.

 

Will ECGS send me my cases back or do I have to trade for one of their cores?

 

Only been home for a little while when this hail storm came through. SMH.

 

I think you can ship them your diffs to regear and they send them back if you don’t want the core charge. Downside being having to wait on it. Also, the cores they send will be nice and clean and painted. I don’t know if they do that to ones you send. Not a huge deal obviously, but the convenience of the cores is nice

 

Dang what some hail did it get your truck? I’d get my roof checked.

 

Yep. Couldn’t really tell yesterday due to it being black and wet. Going to survey damage later when everything is dry. Always something.

 

I only have 25k on my truck and I really don’t want someone’s 80k “good condition” bearings in return.

 

Hopefully it didn’t beat up on it, yea it is always something lol.
