Calling all Virginians (Tidewater area)

Yeah I am actively searching for something to solve this issue. The Magnuson tune is so half-assed I'm tempted to flash my KDMax on it but have a feeling she won't be too happy with that. I am looking for a dyno shop.... Apparently there's a dude in Canada that knows FI and magnuson tunes well.

 

What was wrong with your Dakars? Where they the HDs?

 

They got all wavy and bent and OME replaced them under warranty. I sold the replacements and bought icon RXT instead. So happy with the switch.

 

Coming from Texas where street racing is literally everywhere... do y’all not have performance exhaust shops or anything of the sorts? Any recommendations for somewhere that can build me a custom cat back around Virginia Beach? My buddy said shops up here don’t touch em due to inspections but that just sounds communist. It’s always “we’ll do it for you but you’re SOL if you get a ticket” in Texas which is the way it should be lol.

 

With a new like weldertaco I'd think we would be asking you about fab.

 

Living in an apartment so can’t weld stuff and I’m all about supporting local shops. So that’s why I’m asking

 

One thing I wish I knew how to do was weld. Maybe someday.

 

It’s stupid easy to learn for the hobbyist. It doesn’t become tricky until you get into the industrial side.

 

Hey everyone, waiting on my 2021 Taco to be delivered, this will be my second Tacoma my first was 2001 and I have owned a Fj as well. I'm a welder by occupation for the Navy on their small crafts.
So does anyone know of a shop that does VF tuner to our trucks?

I got a 3rd Gen tacoma front bumper trim with license plate holder for sale in the VB area if anyone is interested. I installed a CBI T3 Baja bumper so I don't need it.

 

Just installed my ToyTec Aluma series lift with JBA upper control arms. Had to cut the lower control arm cam bolts and replaced the lower control arms as well. More to come.
