Yeah hopefully you can get a check soon so parts can get ordered. Gonna be cutting it close to the drags but at least it’s a quick parts swap once they’re here

Yeah the swaps should go quickly. Still wrestling the insurance on coverage tho. They wanted me to send the info on my uppers and lowers. Got a call back saying... "Yeah.. we didn't realize they were that expensive". So now they are reviewing it all to see if they can get it do work with my Policy Limit. Need to add Aftermarket Endorsement to our policy going forward so this won't happen anymore.

Who do you have for insurance? I’m with State Farm and they say everything aftermarket is covered so long as I can show proof of purchase price and the incident is not during a “sanctioned racing event”. Not that I want to test that statement.

But my guy did show me pics of another customers classic car worth about $80k saying my policy is the same as his with nothing fancy to it. Next best thing he said I could do would be a blanket stated value policy I think he called it. Where basically I say it’s worth X amount and they’ll cover that amount. But annual costs for insurance almost triple for that. Said that’s more for guys that are collectors with a million worth of vehicles or more

It’s worth talking to them about at least. Like I said I’m still skeptical on mine and hope I never have to test it and I have brought it up to my agent a few times now and he keeps reassuring me I’m all good.

The phone farm guy was from India I think and he kept calling me Kelly instead of Kyle but I don't care at this point.

So it means there's less in the T4R stack but less to pay out every month, by a pretty big margin.

Just got done doing front brakes and rotors on my wife's mazda6. Decided to go ahead and sucker punch myself in the face with a ratchet. Super fun but brakes are done. The factory pads lasted 36,000 miles.
