    :hattip:Good afternoon everybody. Stormy, nasty morning here, lots of severe weather warnings. Blown out for now but supposed to be more later this afternoon.

    I also got a big surprise bright and early this morning when I checked my work phone. Being command staff at my sheriff's office I get shift report emails. These are short heads up notices of events we need to be aware of. I first one I see this morning is from my son's Sergeant (my kid is a patrol deputy with us), my son's cruiser was hit by a drunk driver last night! In the shift report it states he ok, didn’t have to go to the hospital, and other driver was arrest by highway patrol for DUI. Needless to say, that was a quick wake up! Personal phone had a txt from him that said “Don’t worry, I’m OK”. Been on the phone with him, says he’s fine didn’t get bounced around too bad, no airbag deployed. I didn’t need any coffee to wake up this morning!

    Well now a very proud owner of a very nice utility trailer. Fabform is a small town values company from Oregon. This thing is well made and pulls nicely behind the truck. 5x10 swing gate, e rated 15” tires plus the spare, pressure treated 2x8 decking, all LED lighting, and welded spring loaded tie downs to boot.
