Looks like your had a good time . Don't worry to much about the pinstripes it's a part of off-roading. I have some on my truck and it hurt when I first got them, but now I think they give the truck character .

 

I definitely did! I want to go again but the drive is less than 4 hours away which sucks. Pinstripes just hurt because I have a black truck. If I had a silver metallic, I don't think it would be too much of a bother. For now, I'm keeping the pinstripes and mudsprays as a badge of honor haha!

 

Did a little camping this weekend in Tennessee.

I believe what you are hearing is the Evap pump when it does a leak test. Mine does it quite often.

 

Just got on Tuesday! Want to get a tonneau cover and upgrade the wheels eventually but that's about it.

 

Apart from the looks, is there something about the wheels you have that you don't like?

 

No just the looks. I really don't mind the stock look that much so I probably won't swap them for a while

 

Thanks for the reply. I have since just chalked this noise up to normal. I just had the expectation that this would be like my first gen only brand new, but this is just not the same. The blind spots are different, it makes different noises, it drives different.. it's not the same truck other than bearing the Tacoma name. Knock on wood, I'll drive this one for over 250k with little to no issues.
