the cross bars are bolted to gether from front to rear. the ones going side to side are welded together. made the ones running from the front to the rear bolt on so i could remove everything. otherwise it wouldnt be able to come out. i used rivnuts to bolt down the plywood and recessed the bolts.

Mounted my Fridge in the back too.

Still need to get a mattress and thinking about getting this one. https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/lycksele-loevas-mattress-20102074/

should fit perfect in the back. only issue is the fridge. that might have to get moved into the back seat while sleeping if i have my wife and daughter with me. atleast in the future. my daughter fits perfectly behind the fridge right now. just might have to do something different for the mattress situation tho

made a platform for each side of the access cab. reason for 2 different ones is because i have a 10 in sub in the middle. mainly did this so that my daughters car seat had a more stable base.

the spare tire is not longer in the back of the bed either. mounted my swing arm back onto the rear bumper and the tire is back on it

Nice but it looks like it’s close to being time for a DCLB. Or lose the sub and put the fridge up front.

No DCLB...just put the fridge behind the driver's seat and get an Exped Deepsleep mat for the back. It will serve the purpose for a few years.

With how I have everything setup, it doesn’t fit behind drivers seat.

Think I mentioned that too but the sub would have to go. Time to grow up Mr family man. You’ll have to disable it anyway with the kid there.

Just curious why you built out a platform for the rear when those seats fold out flat. Much more functional than the 2009 and up. My fridge lives behind my drivers seat. Works great.

The sub. It’s bad for her hearing.

    It’s doesn’t cause an issue?

Don’t have it playing loud when she’s in. 20 is max volume I play when it’s just me. When family with me it’s not even like 8.

It’s the fridge that won’t fit with the sub there.

Exactly. Sub and all that platform out, fridge in, and more sleeping room in the back.

Fridge fits fine where it’s mounted. Only thing I have to do is remove it and put it behind back seat while sleeping. It fits behind the drivers seat as long as I’m not sitting in it. I could sit there but I would have the back so damn vertical it would be uncomfortable. For now everything works. Is it a little inconvenient? Yeah a little bit it works. No different if I just had a cooler that I would have to remove out the back to sleep.

I’d do the same thing with a cooler, lose the sub and leave the cooler in one place where I can access it while in the road but my discs are snot so the idea of moving a loaded cooler is not on my table. Different priorities.
