Wish I knew brother. There is a whole thread about it on TW. They showed me the screen and sure enough, "Stop Sale" with red explanation point. Don't know if it's a parts shortage or newly discovered defect. Hard to get any info.

Stop-sale order means a notice issued by the Federal Government or a manufacturer prohibiting a motor vehicle dealer from leasing or selling and delivering at wholesale or retail a motor vehicle in the inventory of the dealer until the vehicle has been repaired because the vehicle has a safety defect, fails to comply with a federal motor vehicle safety standard, fails to comply with a federal emissions standard or fails to comply with an emissions standard adopted pursuant to Title 38, chapter 4.

Except I have read the info, it's STOP SALE on the lift kits, issued by Toyota. Has nothing to do with the trucks, only the lift kit itself. Though I could see a safety issue due to a defect in one of the parts. The lift kit is too much lift for my preference, I was thinking about it till I saw one at the dealer already done.

Wish Toyota would provide more exacting info to the dealerships or service depts. Many dealers are still installing the kits, but I believe it's the kits they have in their physical inventory. My dealership tried to get more and was told "Stop Sale." Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

A stop sale can also be issued by the company. It’s usually done less for an actual safety issue but more the result of litigation/lawyer perceived liability.

Invoice states: 69-5212-BKMQ AP* 3in F / 2in R, SST Lift Kit - TRD/SR5. I can snap a pic of my invoice later. I measured before and after as well. Cost was $370 for the lift, $802 for the install. A bit pricey, but I dont have the means do it at home. Again, drives smooth, and happ so far.

That's what you have. Not terrible but definitely not good either. If you're just into it for the looks not the on/off road performance then it gets the job done at a decent price.

I'm in Florida. I dont do much rock crawling. It's mostly back trails, mud, and the occasional rough stuff, so this suits me fine. If I find i need something beefier, i'll upgrade.

The 3/2 lift that dealers install is all blocks/spacers. Bet his UCA is contacting the coil spring. Just removed a dealer installed lift recently for a TW member. Lots of contact at full droop. The worst part is how much they charge for this package.
