It's my understanding that ARB at least at some point used the Waeco/Dometic compressor assemblies in their fridges... not sure if that applies to the current models.

If this turns into late next month, I'll be back around the last weekend in May and I'd be down.

Went up to Sleepy Creek Lake today to go fishing. All trail gates I saw were open:thumbsup: It was pretty dry up there and very windy. While there I spotted a 1st gen OR access cab with a rtt setting up camp, so I drove over to the campsite and chatted with him and his girl for a minute. They were from MD and were trying out their new rtt for the first time. He said he was on TacomaWorld and a fb 1st gen page also

That thing sells out quick every year, like in an hour or less. I have yet to make it (keep forgetting about it). That said, you can be put on a wait list if someone bails out last minute. But I’ve only ever heard of a few getting like that.

Hope the race scales can hold the weight. Just saying that they come in different weight ratings. Will say this... you will be amazed at the individual weight at each corner of the truck. Total front or rear, and the cross weight, being LF to RR or visa versa. Hell even total left side or right side weights.

If you can get on this, do it.

My excitement for the day were some daily driver mods. Installed a hitch on the Kia and removed the old man pinstriping on the Highlander.

You can see the pinstriping in this pic.

Pinstriping has its place but I will never understand why it's so common on the Highlander, RAV4, and minivans. Just never looks right.

Agreed, I've even seen it on some tacomas. It was easy enough to remove with a little heat though. I wanted to do it now so the paint can all fade evenly versus doing it in a year and leaving visible lines.

What Dave, said. Many a dealer adds the pin stripe for the added charge.

pull that crap off or I’m not buying it.

Stopped up a bass pro earlier today. Seen the Movie Stars, ride wedged in between trucks looked good. Talked to @Salty Dog for a few.

Then found a guy from my office (different dept) up there as well. Didn’t even know he had or was into the taco’s. Good stuff.

I ended up getting @EatSleepTacos old fridge from @UntamedTaco at BPS ..... im just trying to figure out how to get this stain off the cover.

I'm pretty sure it's just low on refrigerant. Looks like an easy fix with a piercing valve and some r134. It's leaking somewhere after 6 months of sitting I blame myself for that.

I honestly have no idea wtf that stain is. I couldn’t get it out. It’s probably gear oil.
