Get new tires. Something boring with the same pattern on both sides.

Sometimes you have to evaluate your life and reality. If you drive 15K/yr you would have to be offroad 1500 miles to get even a 90/10 split on on road vs off road driving.
In reality for most of us its 99% on road and 1% off road. Is it really worth the suffering of harsher ride, tire hum and worse mpg for a look? Only you can decide lol. I run Michelin and am careful off road.

Cool story bro....sometimes you need to evaluate your life and not assume someone hasn't already done so for themselves

Being a person that offroads fairly regularly for work and less regularly for pleasure, it only takes 10 feet of offroading to get the value out of a capable tire. Having been stuck in the snow by myself for hours on end in the Blue Mountain range, I can tell you, I'd make those trade offs to not be stuck.

Beyond that, I recognize my truck is a slave to vanity. Just like a sport bike (motorcycle), you sacrifice comfort and practical performance for a look and extreme performance (that you'll never use). Why, because I like the look of it and how I feel on it.

If everything I did to my Tacoma was solely based on practicality and maximum usage performance, I'd trade it in for a prius.

But your right, it's a case by case basis for every individual. I appreciate your perspective, and am not shitting on your input... just offering my perspective.

Okay? You would be surprised how many decisions are influenced by vanity. I think the op has his head on straight but how many threads start with "I put big ol offroad tars on my rig and now my mpg sucks... what gives?"
In many cases it's not an assumption... it's fact.

Guys, guys... let's not lose sight of why we are all here: to pass harsh judgement on OP for choosing mountains instead of the vastly superior knife pattern (votes be damned!!)
