Shops in OC to compress my springs

So I'm gonna level out my first gen with some 5100's. I picked up a set of OEM coilovers that I aim to use the springs and top mount out of. Basically I'm looking for a place that can swap the springs/top mount to my 5100's for me somewhere in the 949 or 714 area code. I can handle the installation on the truck from there.

Any help is appreciated !!

You can alway rent a spring compressor from auto zone they work alright

 

If you guys are mech. inclined (kinda sounds like you are) could save a few bucks & do it yourself. I'm sure you've already considered it, its not particularly hard but dangerous as hell if you don't do it right of course, just don't remove the center strut-nut until the spring is correctly & safely compressed. I went to the local auto zone & they let me use their spring compressor for free w/$50 deposit which is returned but I'd think just about any shop that deals with suspension would charge about $20 per strut if you bring them in & its just a matter of changing over....

 

Thanks for the replies... Yes, the Autozone rental is a viable option. Its not beyond my mechanical abilities.. its more of a laziness/fear of rental compressor exploding in my face than anything. I worked on my buddies tundra using the autzone compressors... and it was SHADY. I don't get scared working on cars but that instance left a weird taste in my mouth, if you know what I mean.

At this point in time I would prefer to have someone with a proper spring compressor do the dirty, even if I gotta give em a couple $20's.. Throwing on the assembled c/o is not a huge deal.

 

Oh I agree its a spooky experience & theres nothing minor about having a coil spring replacing your head if everything goes batshit on you but for the record I've used a couple diff. compressors & they all end up looking like they're going fly apart, but if $$ isn't an issue then by all means I'd just have someone do it but I'd try to be there when they do , I've heard a few horror stories, Chris4x4 had an incident with having some struts done somewhere, I guess they just fucked it all up they were set at diff. settings or something like that & tried to send them out that way, can't remember where he said it was done at.....
