I swear, the way you took your photo makes your taco look like a RC taco. Nice pic.

I was thinking the same thing! I looked closely for like a full minute—the CA license plate in the grille convinced me it was actually a real truck lol.

Took her to Holcomb Valley in Big Bear, Ca. We did the main trail and a few offshoots as well. We had 9 rigs total and mine was the only 2WD. Beautiful areas and an overall good time.

Looks like a good time! Have you ever considered an air locker? It would make a big difference in those climbs on the offshoots. It’ll also minimize the wheel spin and reduce rutting on the trails (which gives the environmentalists ammo to shut more trails down; just a thought :crapstorm:). Always enjoy the videos and glad you’re sharing with TW!

Thanks man...yea, was considering it but im seriously considering getting a 4x4 end of the year. Hopefully i can find a reasonable price, kinda crazy now how difficult to get a truck especially with the shortages of chips and covid.

Hope you’re able find a good deal! I got the last ‘21 TRD OFF ROAD in December last year at the local dealership. I really lucked out. Got really good financing too(1.9%, probably as close to 0% as I’ll ever get ). Plus it was the fifth new vehicle I’ve bought from them so they gave it to me below the sticker price with the 7 year 75,000 mile service plan at no charge which includes all maintenance even brakes (pad and shoe replacement). They have sent emails offering top dollar for my ‘17 AC 4x2 which I traded in. Paid $31k and got $25k during trade in, not too bad.

Here are a couple pics of the’17 4x2 AC I traded in....

I hope you’re able to find a good deal. 4wd makes things a heck of a lot easier and sometimes downright awesome! Looking forward to seeing some of your future adventures in the new vehicle!

Thanks man...hopefully i can get a good deal too. Its our only vehicle, so we kinda wanted everything this time, hopefully it won’t be hard to find, but could take months sometime. You had a great trade in, hoping to get at least 25k selling private, love your new truck. That will last you awhile until another “new” one haha.

Full turtle on the first half of the Riff Raff obstacle-Rusty Nail in Moab. Got through the rest of the obstacles just fine with some persuasion. Definitely need to do a front locker as the MTS does nothingIMG_4794.jpg
