Anyone know if Weboost will be coming out with any updated model(s) later this year or next ? technology changes so fast, hard to keep up.

Is it your opinion a Verizon Mobile Hotspot when placed next to a single indoor antenna would reach both spaces? In my reading it seems that using the Weboost with a MiFi 8800 will still provide better performance than a MiFi with Antenna alone.

I don't use a standalone hotspot, so not sure I can answer all that.
But I'm pretty sure if you put a hotspot on the back window of the cab, for example, that you could use that wifi just fine from the passenger seat or from in the camper.

i have my hotspot next to my internal antenna, haven't had a chance to test that theory yet. but i also have an external antenaa for the hotspot if i need to boost its signal. from what i've seen on the interwebz is the external hotspot antenna will do just as good, if not better, than the weboost/hotspot combo. so i plan to throw the antenna up the flagpole (weboost antenna) when needed to boost my hotspot reach if the weboost does not provide enough additional signal when needed. if you can get multiple external antennas and plug those into the 2 inputs for externals on the hotspot, that would get you better results.

The Weboost uses an signal amplifier plus antenna. Are you thinking a hotspot with antenna only would be better than the Weboost with hotspot? It would certainly be cheaper. By the way, what hotspot are you using?

Good guess! The photo with the pines is Mt. Lemmon. The others are all out west of Mammoth, AZ.

    Definitely not :) Thanks, man.

nice I did similar. Nice on the angle that would have been a nice touch. No way the X1 would have fit without cutting.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Looks good to me. Whatcha thinking about mounting on what’s left of the prinsu? I have my traction boards up there, but that may be replaced by a solar panel.
I currently have a big ass RedArc solar blanket which is killer, however I really need to set up a stationary planes/“, all my other rigs have one but this one.

No, it's just out in the desert near the Black Hills section of the Arizona Trail.

I was thinking of traction boards. Right now I have a single Renogy panel. I have 2 on my last setup but moved them here for now as I may go flexible ones on top of the wedge.

Spent a week near Giant Rock in Yucca Valley and took a ride through Joshua Tree National Park.

P.S. Beware of some of the locals, they are kookoo. There was gun fire exchanged a few weeks ago. And someone complained about us riding our dual sports(road licensed 4 strokes) on the public road to the Giant Rock open space. I guess they got nothing better to do than watch tv and complain that others are enjoying life.
