Switzerland Trail, near Boulder, CO. This was just about a month ago. I've since swapped the grille with an aftermarket TRD Pro grille.

 

I am going to do the same thing to mine. Well one exception it will be painted. I have access to a paint shop materials are all I pay for.

Can you post a pic from the back of the cab. I am curious to how you did the back of the C pillar. Did you wrap the back of the cab?

 

Here’s my stock 21 Sport 4x4. Currently running 265/70r17 falken wildpeaks on a 4Runner trd wheels.

 

Only had my new pro for a couple of weeks,... .slowly modding it with similar touches to my 2017 limited. Dropped by dealer and my 17 was still there... so got pics together. Wife things i'm an idiot

Thanks. That is where I’m struggling. I like the angle and staying with the body line but to me it looks undone from the back. Maybe my paint guy (brother) might have a thought to accent the angle and make it flow better. I’m not putting your truck down or nothing just kinda thinking through it. I may do the same thing. Perhaps a pinstripe or something maybe the old school tricolor stripe. Any suggestions?

 

I struggled with the same thing. Good luck post some picture when done. I did it this way because I like it and that's all that matters to me.

You can follow the body line and then go down to the rear window but its going to be changeling to make it look good IMO.

 

I’ve been looking into something similar as well and couldn’t figure out a way to separate it clean enough to pulling the trigger. The best thing I’ve come up with for me so far was to just do the roof and not bring any of the lines down or onto the doors. So just the inside of the top roof line. It’s definitely a tricky one to pull off. I think the way you did it with curving the window lines looks good too. Good work

 

You are exactly right it is going to be tough. The body line isn’t cohesive around the cab. The way you did yours may be what I go with.

I will spend some time with the painter and some tape laying it out. I’m open to suggestions. Now that I have seen it on a Tacoma I really want to do it. My brother suggested just the center but the pillars painted black looks pretty nice. We did decide to paint door handles and mirror caps and grill when we do it. I will post some pics when we do it.
