They destroyed my 2 month old taco

I do understand that I don’t deserve a new truck but damn it’s such a shitty situation. And yes I know they do good jobs in good body shops, but I’m not getting back what I’m paying for. I’m not getting the truck in the condition I bought it for either. So what the heck.

Toyota approved body shop. Or the nicest body shop you can find. They will demand the best repair.

 

You should if you don’t want it! I would. Look man, I had an accord this happened to and the insurance company didn’t wanna total it. Turned into a war.

I did after back and forth bs for weeks. They paid it off and I ended up getting a new one lol

 

I would caution you against that.

Best case, you get laughed at.

Worst case, your adjuster writes you off as a Karen and won't be willing to work with you, since youll never be happy no matter what they do anyway.


Relax. Have a beer, and at least give them the opportunity to make it right before you start running off to war.

Body shops can’t repair a vehicle to factory specs. They just can’t. If my two month old truck was wrecked and it wasn’t my fault, you can bet I will fight like hell to get a brand new one.

 

Get the options first and then push it if it isn’t what you want.
