take it to the dealer, you plan on turning the lease in to. when you turn in the lease, and they want to "ding" you for "prior poor repairs". tell them, your body shop repaired the truck, it is on your dealership to make this right with the lease company, not you. Ski

Actually the two times I had my trucks fixed I went to the shops my insurance company recommended. I’m very picky when it comes to my $40,000 truck and you can bet I will nitpick every rattle, mis-aligned piece and go over it with a fine tooth comb. If you can’t line up a hood right and I can spot the gaps within 5 seconds of seeing it then we’ve got problems.

Of course, you make a good point. I used to work in finance and it’s important you get everyone on the same page.
That way you’re not stuck holding the bag in the end.
