Has nothing to do with entitlement. HE didn’t cause the accident. HE has a loss from something not his fault.

I didn’t even see the post about the entitlement piece but I agree 100%. Nothing to do with entitlement. It’s his right to exercise

I mean I guess if you’re not buying it.. and they fix it to the best of their ability... can’t be that bad. At least you’re not stuck with it. I’m just saying if it doesn’t go your way, which I hope it does.

take it to the dealer, you plan on turning the lease in to. when you turn in the lease, and they want to "ding" you for "prior poor repairs". tell them, your body shop repaired the truck, it is on your dealership to make this right with the lease company, not you. Ski

Actually the two times I had my trucks fixed I went to the shops my insurance company recommended. I’m very picky when it comes to my $40,000 truck and you can bet I will nitpick every rattle, mis-aligned piece and go over it with a fine tooth comb. If you can’t line up a hood right and I can spot the gaps within 5 seconds of seeing it then we’ve got problems.

Of course, you make a good point. I used to work in finance and it’s important you get everyone on the same page.
That way you’re not stuck holding the bag in the end.
