Where's your cell going? As much as it was tongue in cheek mentioning Kibbe, he puts out a clean fuel cell cradle for behind the axle under a spare.

Hit up Galtan Haddon on Instagram. He’s got all the fuel safe enduro cell sizes and he can make you a custom mount. No one really sells or puts a lot of info on the 50 gallons. Mostly just build cages and tab off it around those. But Gatlan can get you set up

Yeah I had seen a lot of really complex nice looking Chevy cells but not a lot from any other trucks and I chocked it up to Chevy nerds having more money to do prerunner builds like the kibbe references made.

mine will be against the back of the cab and hopefully a truck of decent sizing behind it

JD Fab has a Taco fuel cell kit coming out, cool thing is that you can buy just the metal shell to use as a storage compartment under / through the bed floor or drop the cell into it : https://jdfabrication.com/collections/05-15-6-lug/products/tacoma-rear-gastank-kit

Ah yeah if your back halving the truck you don't need a kit for an OE frame. I think Solo's Taco fuel cell is 40 or 50

    50 gallons isn't overkill if you're only getting 5 mpg on dirt 5 x 50 is still only a 250 mile range

50 gallon fuel safe race cell with mats

    but
    Ya know
    Mileage matters
    So
If you only wanna go 20-30 gallon trips
    Enjoy

Also trunk has to be large enough to fit a folded wheel chair
    And medical triage bags

Not sure the point such a long range. My bladder needs to stop sooner, my buddies will all need to stop for gas sooner, you're still going to get gas at every station in Baja (it's a rule).

" My bladder needs to stop sooner " - drink less cerveza while driving

" my buddies will all need to stop for gas sooner " - second place is the first loser

" you're still going to get gas at every station in Baja " - in some areas the fewer stops the better

Now if only I was in the financial bracket to afford a 200k truck all at once

edit: if I’d stop getting trigger happy and buying parts that end up not playing nice with the overall build
I’d have more money for the right parts to finish things :bananadead:
