If the tie rod mounting is a fraction of a millimeter off where from the old one is in relation to the joint the toes gonna be fucked

I bought a set of Ac-Delco lbjs for an 02 Tacoma one was made in Italy or Switzerland and one was made in china

Go back a few months on this thread you'll see where I mentioned not to get Ac-Delco from rock auto because 555 in the picture wasn't what came in the box

The truck had return to center issues, it would track straight when the wheel was centered because it was aligned, but would hop and chirp the tires at full lock, one side was turning at a greater angle than the other

The fix till was to put 2 new autozone ball joints from ctr... Got it aligned and it was perfect

Which I'm glad I did for free because he's given me several side jobs

Please just try to critically think

Yeah they're supposed to mirror originals but the aftermarket isn't necessarily known for precision or accuracy

I probably will since I might end up changing the settings on my SPCs which is another question if anyone has experience with... What’s the best position to set SPCs at for better caster. I’ve heard + and - both increase caster from different people lol.

I run SPC on my 4Runner. It all depends on the tire size you are running and if you are trying to eliminate a rubbing problem or not.

My SPC ball joints are ruined so I'm about to be figuring that out as well.

Then you want to add caster in to move the tire forward. That will also affect camber settings and you have to start playing with the LCA settings to correct that.

typically the stock setting on the SPC arms should get you to a point where further fine tuning on the lowers will get rid of the rub.
