What are you paying for your 2021 Tacoma? (price thread)

Purchased Grey double cab, sr5, 5 foot bed, auto 4 x 4. The only extras were all weather floor mats, sill protectors, and mud guards. I put a deposit on this truck while it was on transit from Baja. I wanted some technology packages but was told forget it due to the chip shortage. I test drove it and signed the papers and drove it away to my house. Dealer was Rockingham Toyota, sticker was 37,049. We got them down to 34,000. With my trade of my wife’s 2013 Kia Sorento, my final cost was 27,200..She got a new Sorento last year.

Got TRD Sport DCSB 4x4, MSRP 40616K. Negotiated down to 39400K. Paid 40900 OTD. Dealership around the area is pretty uptight with negotiations. I normally wouldn’t pay anything more than the Sticker Price out the door when buying a new car, but I had to do it for this one.

Dealer contacted me with a build date of May 27th and and temporary VIN. Feels good to at least know that much. They really didn't have an estimate for delivery though, it's being built at the Mexico plant.

 

Yeah they are allowed to "Try" and add whatever fees they want, but your allowed to walk away if you don't like what you see!

However, SET and GST are the Gambino family of Toyota..... their fees/costs are outrageous and have been for more years than most people alive on this board. People just don't know about it.... you will see the GST and SET cartel if you google it

All my family which live in the mobster region of SET/GST, all go out of region to buy. Why give your hard earned money to the mob, when you don't have to. Not to mention all the ugly flares (100-200 series LC they put on), and all the dumb "models" and "trim" they make up to get more money from customers.

Saleswoman gave me a chance to reserve a incoming silver trd sport, since the other two I wanted were sold already. IF you were planning on buying online, don't order from their express store (will be msrp), talk with a salesperson to get a discount. I can give you the sales lady info if you want, send me a pm. She is not pushy at all, very chill, didn't even try to force add-ons / extras.

Brand new to this forum, first time posting and first time Tacoma owner.

I just bought a 2021 TRD Sport Premium in Magnetic Grey, double cab, manual, added TRD Pro Wheels with KO2 rubber and 427 revtek leveling kit (will do suspension kit eventually) should be here around May 7th.

$53300 Canadian with all taxes, GST, and any of their fees.

Feel like I got a decent price? Hope so any ways.

~43k in freedom dollars. Not too shabby, i'm sure those taxes and fees tack on a few pennies that you can't avoid

 

One local Toyota dealer wanted $55k (before taxes and fees) for their MGM Tacoma TRD Pro. Went with another and got the same Tacoma for $48k.

 

What region of the country?

 

WA State.

 

52k. TRD Sport DBCLB with nearly every option. Leather seats, 360 camera system, 4x4, leveling kit, 33inch toyo tires and TRD wheels. MSRP before options was 47k. Dealers are/will continue the "market adjustment" pricing until inventory levels ramp back up. Microchip shortage will continue till q4.

 

You sure payed TRD pro price for it though! Either way, congrats!
