A lot of changes since my last post

 

those are 265/70 stock goodyear kevlars. i just had the ultra terrains installed. look pretty good. rides like the stock tires.

 

265/75 16 ultra terrain. They truly ride like stock. Next time I will probably get the bros

 

Access cab ftw my old 04. love the first gens the most but my frame rusted out and broke so onto bigger things lol

 

Thanks! The Grabbers are a fantastic tire, there’s a thread on here somewhere about them. Highly recommended.

And stock suspension. I’m not into lifts or levelling. I batter the hell out of the truck and it’s never had an issue taking it where I take it.

My first new truck - in fact my only new truck - before this one was a 1984 Toyota ExTra cab, red 4x4. It cost me $7,200 brand new off the lot.
I figured after 37 years I deserved a retirement gift to myself and so I pretty much bought a 2021 version of that 1984 model.
It's a 2021 Toyota Access Cab, red 4x4.
Cost me a bit more than the '84 did but that's OK.
Now I'm not much for modifications so I don't know how much help I'll be to you but it's set up exactly as I want it.
I did swap out the tires for Falcon Wildpeaks in 265/75 16 and I did get a couple of the standard Grandpa options because...well...I'm a Grandpa and they are what I wanted.
Those would be running boards and mudflaps. Yeah I know I won't be running Baja or rock crawling in Moab but it gets me out and about on fire roads, back in some real pretty country in Colorado and does a good job out here on the dirt, mud, gravel, snow and whatever else sorta roads I might be on in Bumfuk Kansas.
Tucker - the big brown dog - really likes it and so we go adventuring here and yonder on a regular basis. That reminds me, I did do another mod and that was to build Tucker a flat riding area in the access part - that was a really good idea I got off here.
Get whatever you want on your truck as the only guy you need to please is you.

I specifically wanted a 6 ft. bed, and I had no use for a DC, let alone that the DCLB wouldn't have fit in my current garage.

This is earlier this year camping/working on land that I own in the Black Hills.

Here is my 2021 Access cab. Icon Stage 3 lift, 285/70/17 tires and SDHQ sliders.

 

Nice - what else you got going on with the suspension , etc , etc

 

It has the icon upper control arms and an Add a leaf in the rear. As far as shocks go just the Extend travel 2.5 coil-overs in front with the remote reservoir 2.5’s in the rear.
Not much else other than a rotopax mount in the bed for a 3.5gallon. Want to get the OV tune soon to help get the transmission back to what it should be.
