Yeah it’s mainly that Friday date.

I asked a couple days ago in here what the rain rule of thumb was but Alex never answered...

I know they have year round get down purpose built for wet weather riding, but idk about the rest of the trail system.

I should have said, I used this as an excuse to wash the truck. I have not washed it probably since Thanksgiving. Plus once, I put the diamondback and the tent back on there are places I can't reach.

Oh I get it. With the shell on full time, the back of my cab gets disgusting. Mine got a wash a couple weeks ago...that was the most recent wash since probably Sept./Oct. 2020 :anonymous:

Yeah when I had my shell I would kinds shimmy a wet towel in there and wiggle it around, pretty tough though.

The fold-in glass on the shell I have now is pretty handy. There’s still some areas that are out of reach. But way better than all the previous shells I’ve run.

My truck has bird doodie and pollen on it, and my bike probably has mud on the front triangle.
It's going as is! Washing a truck in Alabama during this time is pointless as it gets a coating of pollen the same day.

facts. if I didn't park underneath 2 giant pine trees I wouldn't worry about it, but I get much much more than just pollen on my truck.

I also just run it through the car wash....I don't hand wash it lol

For those curious, there looks to be a Walmart and Mom/Pop Grocery store within 3 or so miles from camp. As well as Taco Bell, Chikfila, and a liquor store.

Will be watching weather closely but currently don't expect too many hiccups - should dry fairly quickly out there

@honda50r I saw somewhere that there are water stations to refill water bottles around the trails? are there a lot? are there several locations? just thinking a full day of riding from camp I'm going to drink more than 3 bottles of water that I carry/ride with.

also, it's the Monday 2 days before...I'm going to rule @jbaker1976 out since he hasn't replied to anything. that opens up 1 spot for camping at the site.

If that screws up the $$ breakdown for covering the campsite I can kick in some more.

don't worry about that I'll cover that portion.
