My 1984 Camaro had been repainted before I got it, best I could describe is the 90s Ford Explorer green..not a GM colour but I liked it and it was at least a little different than most Camaros.

Mine is an above ground, 15 by 25 and 4.5 deep so around 10K gallons. Opening and closing is about 3-4 hours but not ass-busting work. Maintainence of it is painless..chlorine, shock, algaecide every week. I use a timer for the filter...and use the auto vacuum weekly, occasionally I need to use the manual vac but not much unless it's leaf season. I do agree that the older above ground systems sucked.

Very good point. Not good enough to buy a GMC again though.

My co-worker here, who drives a truck but CERTAINLY doesn't need one says he prefers the Rhino since it's softer and stuff in the bed doesn't slide as much. That tells me it's probably not as durable.

Is the $650 you were quoted because you priced the UV treated? They quoted me $500 again for my f150 but it's just the regular stuff. Who cares if it gets a little sunbleached?

The truck was there again today. Sorry my passenger window was still up so your seeing it through my tint in the first 2 pictures but the full truck picture was with my window down.
I don't know what year the truck is or what the color is called but I really do like that color!

I used to have a color like that on my old Dodge intrepid......It was called Onyx green pearl. I don't know what chevy is calling it these days though. I loved that color.

I like how much it changes. In the direct sun it looks green and in the shade it looks much darker.

It's never overkill to do something right. LineX is the right way.

To compete with the rino rubber, get a rubber mat. A line-x truck with a rubber mat is undefeated imo. If you want a cap different things come into play. But rubber mat takes away any down side of a rougher, more slippery line-x. Get both!

Who else needs me to spend their money?:hattip:

I got the tundra line-xed, I recommend it. They did a good job, removed the bolts and tailgate panel. I had rhino liner on a previous truck, and they didn't do that. It was a thinner coat too.

Only took a about 3 hours, a coworker did his own bedliner, and it took about 4 days. Sanded the bed, and then the stuff wouldn't dry.

Line-x has a lifetime warranty, and adds value to the truck. In my opinion it's worth it. I pulled the drop in liner out of the truck when I got it and there was probably 30lbs of wet mulch under it.

The $650 was the Line-X normal, the Premium (UV resistant) was $750 or $775. My bed is in the next pricing bracket I think than your 150. The 'short bed' is still almost 7' long.
Gotcha, looks neat. Still not a huge fan of the green but it's an interesting color.
You realize you're talking to someone who bought a 3/4 ton diesel to mostly daily drive and occasionally tow a trailer that would be comfortable behind a properly equipped F-150... Don't threaten me with a good time!

Ehh, some people are pathetic. A lot of people are mentally AND physically pathetic. We might have witnessed a little of the latter in that video, even if it was informative.

No kidding. And hitting the plate steel bumper. Really? Somebody hands me a bat and says "here, test how durable Line-x is by hitting my jeep with this bat" and I'm going to be swinging for the cheap seats on that grill and those fenders, haha!

Instead, these clowns are just booping a frigging heavy duty steel plate and are like 'ermahgerd, I didn't damage it" like it's a big deal

I didn't pay for the extra UV coat. I think it was the same price you listed for 6.5' bed on the tundra.
