How does the trim attach?

 

It just snaps in. There's a piece that extends an inch or so on the front side that you slide in first before snapping the rest of it down. The only tool you really need is a pair of pliers to help get the old piece off, but I've also seen videos where it was done by hand too. The hardest part for me was just getting the old molding off. The new one literally goes on in 5 seconds.

 

Nice! What rear bumper is that?

 

Started my audio build. Added a nice Kenwood heady it, ran the amp and new speaker wire for when I change those items out and mirrored the rear view cam to the new HU. Oh and sound deadened the front doors. I’m going to do a build thread or start the thread sometime this week. Can also see where my brother made me a nice fuse holder mount from aluminum with rounded edges

Good thinking. Wish I would have thought about something like that before I manhandled mine on Saturday. My old man back isn't up for that kind of stuff anymore.

 

Yah...i almost dropped the rtt on its side. I cant imagine leaving this on all summer so i need to figure out how to load onto the truck then unload the rtt on the dolly. My shoulder is still recovering from the inital install effort.

 

Added an LCD rear view mirror. My brother has an OEM one on his new Ram 2500 and after seeing it in action I was sold. Especially with the swing out tire carrier!

It’s a Brandmotion FullVue. The cable was just barely long enough to reach the mounting point I selected.



I need to move the bracket down about an inch, but it works for now.

 

You just slide the end by the side mirror in first, then lower the rest of the trim down. Line up the rear side as you push the piece down (you can maneuver the whole trim piece before locking it into place). Then just push down really hard until you hear some 'clicks' and bam, done.

Finally threw these NST pulleys on. The crank proved to be a bit of a challenge.

 

Got these delivered today. Can’t wait to get them mounted up.

 

I installed a scanguage on the truck during my lunch break, just need to program the trans temp features and its good to go.

 

Done a few things in the past few months. Bajadesigns Squadron Pro ditch lights to replace the sports I had before, 85k service, new OEM air/cabin filters and took some pictures.

Your 5100's look like they aren't set at zero. So you have them set higher with a lift spring?

 

Diode Dynamics SS30 amber combo led bar installed. Didn’t fill in the bumper section as much as the Amazon light bar, going to order another SS30 led bar to fill in the bumper section. Just not sure if I want another combo bar, flood or spot bar.
