I thought there was a twin stick specific show off thread but I can't for the life of me find it.

I want to see some setups so I can get ideas on how/where I want my extra fun levers.

@tacoma16 gave me twin stick envy.

I have started down the path, with guidance from him. :cookiemonster:

They have twin sticks available, without boot. They just updated the website.

The supervisor of my mod @tacoma16, said that is the shiz to get.

    :bananadance:

That is American pricing, so watch out. She gets a bit pricey on checkout with the CND doll hairs.

I did not have to move my shifter on my 6sp. I am using the t-case shifter out of a awd case from a 6sp fj. I looks like it has built in short throw.

I dont think i ever posted in here, but i swapped in a 6spd FJ AWD case a couple months ago. Used driveshafts for a 5spd auto Tacoma.

Stopping for the day so I can have plenty of time tomorrow to swap input shafts without any interruption. A transmission jack made life a lot easier while working alone. Honestly, this has been really easy thus far and I only have fairly intermediate wrenching knowledge. Remove Y pipe, remove driveshafts, unbolt the bolts holding it to the tranny and off she comes.

I thought about working around various stuff but I figured I’m not in any rush. I may as well make this enjoyable and really take my time. So much room for activities.

I agree, I was too excited and in a rush as it had to be finished over the weekend. My hardest part was shifter location.
Good stuff..... oh an as soon as i started to disassembly i realized i should of hosed it off first, did not want to get the parts inside dirty....

What boot did you use? Custom order?

And why a 5 speed auto driveshaft? Does the original 6 speed 4x4 shaft not work?

Yes we used a jack, point the flange straight up and roll it toward the back as you jack it up and it will roll right into place.

I used the boot for the 6 speed FJ cruiser and it was modified with the tacoma shifter wire piece. The driveshafts had to be swapped because i used the manual trans FJ cruiser AWD t-case and it's an inch longer than the automatic FJ cruiser t-case. If you're installing an auto case behind your 6spd, your stock driveshafts will work just fine

Any reason you went with the auto? Other than, I imagine, to have an AWD taco?
