Baby seat in extra cab? and skid plate help

    Runner SR5, xeon headlights, 6inch kc spotlights, cb in ashtray mod, roof rack, 2.5 inch lift in front with dodge 1500 coils in the rear and skyjacker shocks
    Okay so ive been searching and searching and have had no luck, how have any of you put a rear facing car seat in your truck? if pics are avalable that would be even cooler!

    and i also F...d up my skid plate today and need a new one im thinking about aftermarket whats good?

    Didn you have any chance finding an aftermarket skid plate / engine undercover?
    I seriously damaged it and Toyota sells it for about 300 new.
    It's not worth that much, especially because is just a shield. It is only the looks...

    Do you have the little flip up table thing in your ext. cab on the back pass. side? I believe it's there for car seats.

    If your looking for a skid plate I suggest Budbuilt's, i've heard nothing but good about them.

    Thats correct. On the first page that shows rear seat installation in the pdf I linked it says "if your child restrant system is too large, you can use the folding table as an auxiliary support"

    i know my daughters britax wont fit its just to damn big some of the smaller brands fit. well like her old graco snugride fit well and safely but the large high speed low drag ones dont work.

    i have no picture of it now but i removed the bottom cushion all together on the passenger side. put the cup holder in the up position and used the car carrier base . i had a chico carrier in it for about 6 months till i bought a double cab.

    I had the same dilema. I could not fit a carseat in the back of my xtra-cab. I traded it for a doublecab. I found this pict.from another forum customtacos. See the picture
    it will be difficult to put the child in there.
