I'm the hack who has been reusing them for years and never had an issue

 

If you saw our storage shed, you'd understand lol. It is so full it's not even funny. It's just a small room the size of a tiny storage unit, maybe.

Need to clean it out again and reorganize it, get some taller shelves probably.

 

Y’all change those fluids?

 

Didn't see your pic attachment initially, yeah those would be helpful. I just need to clean the whole thing out and redo it but, the don't-wannas are strong.

 

it's been a thought in the brain before. Didn't have enough wrinkles to figure out my plan for it or moving

 

I too suffer from smooth brain every once in awhile.

 

I've been slowly organizing hardware, electrical connecters, fasteners, etc with these style containers and it really does make life easier.

 

They have a pretty nice gasket and keeps stuff dry and pretty durable. And compared to some of the other brands that do the same thing its pretty affordable especially when there are sales

 

I use them for all kinds of stuff in my work van.
i like them because they stack nice and when you lock them close nothing transfers from pin to bin while moving. Plus they are pretty robust.

And if you get the rolling one its nice because you can stack alot and lock them together then move the whole stack in one go.

I prefer the ridgid because it does what i want for not a whole lot.
The Milwaukee stuff has more options, better quality and what not but its to fucking expensive

 

Yeah I've noticed that the cheap ones aren't particularly great when they let all the small parts sneak past the dividers and mix anyways

 

Would be handy to grab for trail runs too where you want to bring along extra fasteners and odds and ends, I have an old toolbox I use that for now but it's all just haphazardly tossed in there.

 

Yeah the cheap ones are great because they are cheap. But stuff likes to magically move and after a few hits they usually break apart

 

I need to get some of those for screws, nuts and bolts and shit.

 

Yep I have a small one exactly for that! manual hub (and third member) studs, nuts, washers, some spare 12, 10mm, and 8mm bolts

 

*looks at Harbor Freight stacking shelf in my storage shed that's starting to collapse*

 

My rigid boxs get tossed around in my van and hold up well. Even left them outside through a few rain storms and everything stays dry.

im sure there are better options, especially for offroading. But i do like my rigid boxs

 

My dad's getting rid of a bunch of stuff when they move up to Oregon, he's got a fancy garage shelf organizer I'm going to adopt

Also has a really nice tool bench/organizer, but it's way too big for our shed and I'd have no place to put it. Sad face.

 

I have 2 full of fasteners and they keep everything separated pretty well. And ive tossed then around and dropped them a fair amount
