I’m all for local business but discount tire has been amazing any time I have walked into one of their stores.

 

Amazing if you're a typical customer.

If you're anal they leave a little to be desired sometimes.

 

Lmk if I’m full of shit but couldn’t you just put the Tcase on neutral? My 87 had a neutral in there would that cause other issues?

 

I fall right in the middle of that most times.

 

Tcase in neutral seems like it would disconnect input shaft from output shaft which would equal no oil distribution.

 

I took the 2021 4Runner up there to have the new wheels and tires mounted. Told them, DO NOT BREAK THESE TPMS, Toyota changed them recently and you won't be able to get a replacement yet. Of course they broke two of them. One week waiting for special order, $600, and three hours spent at the Toyota dealership and I was back on the road. DT reimbursed the $600 but not my three hours of lost time.

Other than that, they have done really good work for me though.

 

Very pleased with my local DT as well.

 

Does anyone have an Air compressor they want to get rid of?

Whelp, I get to deal with fixing pex now as well. Dealership who had my camper in for repairs over winter never winterized it like they said they did and I don’t have any documentation because it was all over phone. Looks like the flair-it connectors aren’t hard to work with but one of the leaks is in a hard spot to get to.

Camper survived -30 temps in Montana only to get damaged in N.C.

Finally felt decent enough after ankle surgery to get out in the garage for an hour today. Swapped my ugly factory method caps for some fancy @MESO ones.

 

I was 2min from your house this morning, t00ning another guys truck. I was gonna text you and see if you were mobile yet...I’ll swing by next time I’m in the area and get you setup with the new file.

 

I should be able to come to you week after this coming.

2nd part of my surgery is Tuesday so I’ll be back on crutches for another week.
