This thread is to post something that you don't like about your truck. No matter what vehicle you have...there will always be ONE thing you don't like simply because nothing is perfect.

We're not posting in this thread with tears as we type our comment. Rofl, some of you guys are taking this way to literal.

Toytec lift, 5100's,Tint, Front grill,All pro front bumper, Warn winch, Hella Blk magic lights, piaa fog lights, Avic D3, TRD Exhaust, Cold air intake, fog light anytime, Tailgate mod, debadged,
I'll play.....I have had many Toyota's over the years, I currently have an 07 Double Cab auto. Here's my list of dislikes, but dont get me wrong....this is more of a wish list as I would never drive anything but a Toyota.....here goes

    1. Illuminated 4x4 switch (I just did the mod 2 days ago, thanks to everyone on here!)
    2. Fog light switch needs an indicator light
    3. Heated mirrors....its a pain in the a** up here in Canada without them
    4. Sunroof
    5. leather
    6. Arm rest that can be adjusted
    7. Should come from the dealer with a 6" lift, big tires, blacked out headlights, black rims and an ARB bumper and winch and rock sliders and tinted windows, grillcraft with hella 500 BM behind the grill and a TRD supercharger and free beer till the warranty is up.
Maybe I should get a Tundra?? They come with all of the above (except #7) I beleive! Happy New Years everyone!! Thanks for all the great info on here!

I think the missing transmission dipstick just annoys the hell out of me. I'm an experienced mechanic and doing the transmission service was easy enough without it, but it would be nice to be able to check the level.

yes, there is no dipstick on the V-6 autos. You have to check it while hot at the trans pan. Very easy to do for an experienced mechanic, not so easy for do-it-yourselfer.

The price on new tacomas is what I don't like. Wish I could buy a new one. :)

ATO front skid (need more but icon's might fail if I hang anything else from my truck) All-Pro front bumper thanks to a good deal here and a pesky encounter with a rock or 20, total chaos uppers.
For that much on top of the sticker price I would own a raptor. Pretty happy with the taco though, but like any auto it does have issues

Well...it wouldn't be Tacoma and it wouldn't be CUSTOM....

But I do agree, just get a Raptor (or whatever) 'cause you get VALUE for it at resale.

Actually, I was being more than a a little sarcastic...cause IMO, one thing I bought a Tacoma for was it's 'simplicity'. Disliking the 'electronic' 4x4...wishing I had the lever on the floor...and electric windows. Just more to break that I'll have to fix.... completely unlike radio, cruise control, heater and A/C. When they break for good I'm just disconnecting whatever I have to and do without.

    Damn. It's a pickup...at some point in it's life it's a beater. By definition.

Maybe my Tacoma should tuck me in at night!! aside from that issue, it's a great truck, so far no major issues, It's a toyota, that's why I own it!!
