1 recently bought a re-man engine and everything hooked up except the exhaust manifold. the gasket pattern is identical to the original engine but the bolt holes and ports are about 1/2 inch narrower. for all 2.7l engines there are only three types of exhaust manifolds as far as the mounting goes. any ideas? the only thing i can come up with is the engine they sent had overheated and shrunk the mounting area. any help would be appreciated as to get a replacement will take about two weeks.

1/2” is a lot of difference.
Something isn’t right. Are you sure it’s for the the 2.7 and not the 2.4?

    Thanks dude!

You made me spit my coffee all over my desk. o_O

I would guess you have the wrong year engine after 2015 it comes with dual vvti... I'm not sure, but that is my guess.
