It makes me so happy that literally your only argument is "they have a lot of tricks to use to try and get out of this." And I don't mean that in a mean way, I promise! Your argument is about as good as any of the other ones that try dismantle the thesis. The only way it doesn't make sense is if something illegal happens to stop it. That's it. There's nothing other than "I feel", "I think", and "If they do shady stuff" to discredit it.

Oh, been here since November and now have basically a Master's in Stonk Market fuckology. It has not improved my mood towards finance or government, I can tell you that much lol

 

For sure, Ive been holding since January and have maybe 5 days of green... followed by crippling red.

 

But when those green days hit...

 

The FOMO coming into market open tomorrow is gonna be fierce with that after hours bump.

If, IF IF IF the flat trading over the last couple weeks was due to GME portioning out their share offering in a metered way and controlling the price, I suspect that today's trading is much more reflective of how the stock would normally trade. They obviously finished the share offering prior to today since they announced it AH.

Therefore I expect the following:

1. Tomorrow is a repeat of today, but no after hours spike (cause no fancy news)

or

2. Hedge funds do what they always do when they feel threatened, and short it back down to the $160s.

If I had to make an educated guess, I'm thinking #1 is going to be more likely moving forward. You just can't keep dumping billions of dollars at a lost cause indefinitely. They've been doing that for 5 months now, and its gotten them nowhere. We could be very near, or at the point in time where demand gets to truly run the price up. Kenny and co have had plenty of time to offshore their illicit wealth, and day by day the new DTC rules are being implemented.

 

Plus Cocaine Jimmie pumping it by claiming Cohen can now enact Jimmie's grand plan (whatever the hell that is...)

My guess is this is an effort to get (actually) r*tarded retailers to FOMO and paper hand at the first sign of trouble, just like January.

My main point was it could be a long road without something to push it over the edge. I’m not arguing against any of the alleged “facts”. I say it that way because we don’t have concrete numbers, just good educated guesses. But the factors that would normally cause shorts to cover might not come into play just because of how messed up the situation is. Lenders/brokers may just not force them to return shares if they fear it could blow everything up. Nobody knows how this plays out. It will be interesting for certain

 

Back in the good old days before the casinos really tightened up the rules, I think we're at the point where dealer just pulled a six. You've got a pair of aces. Single deck game and the count is +3. I'd split the aces, take one card a piece, and double down on both.

Dude, save at least 5 to see how far they go. This will never happen again in the history of the markets. You owe it to yourself to keep 5 shares until the price gets ridiculous. At the very least, you're holding them because you believe RC can do with GME what he did with CHWY
