I have one on my Jeep. Havent used it to pull me out yet, but it has no problem holding an 8lb dog at bay.

Anyone know of a decent place to rent a small cabin near pigeon forge/Gatlinburg for the end of the week/weekend? Feeling the need to escape to the mountains after all the car wreck stress. I got a 4x4 wrangler as a rental so not afraid of some mountain roads just would like some peace/quiet cabin - pretty last minute so it looks like most places I'm looking are booked.

I would also consider the Rough Country for a budget winch. I read a lot of good reviews and didn't find much "bad" on them. The flip side of that coin is that I couldn't find too much on them at all. @Pizzasteve5717

Just pull the nail out and see if it holds air. Not going all the way through, I don't really see a need for soap test, but don't see any harm in it either. @HashTaco

@wornandtorn , If you can afford it, Bud Built is top of the line when it comes to armor....from all my web wheeling knowledge.

Thank you, @CowboyTaco! I’ll give Bud Built a look. I remember reading a post awhile back where someone else had good things to say. Hope your week is off to a good start. Thanks again, Nathan

@CowboyTaco my memory ain’t the greatest but I thought I remembered you mentioning at some point buying a big family suv maybe an expedition? We just got insurance settlement and I’m starting to figure out what we’re getting. You buy yours to tow anything or just haul kids around? Thanks and if I’m wrong you never said anything about that just ignore me and I’ll fade away with less shame. :anonymous:
anyone else feel free to share some knowledge as well-I’m looking for 10k tow and a third row best deal/value landing on 2016ish expeditions low miles 20-30k with the 6 speed and turbo but not the first year of it.
