Tacoma Stalking, er...uh, Spotting, with Charlie™ (2nd Gen Edition)!

That was almost six years ago; I was not hurt, but if the police hadn't shown up when they did, the old bastard who hit me probably would have gotten hurt...

70-year old man in a 2002 Mercedes E320; He had previously killed someone while driving drunk in the 1980s, and he told his insurance company I ran a stop sign. My insurance company ended up having to eat the cost of fixing my truck because his took his story even though he got a DUI; Luckily, my insurance company waived the deductible and did not raise my rates.

 

I have that model... it should just be the SR base model. Mine is a 2014, came with those black "Baja" wheels, color matched front/rear bumpers and grill. It did not have intermittent wipers/cruise control but I replaced the stalk with one that did. Only thing is mine did come with chrome badging that I've since plasti-dipped black. I also had to add the backup camera. The truck was prewired for one I just had to buy the actual camera and pop it in... worked flawlessly.



Don't mind the "SR5" decals, trying to be a poser.

 

Yes. When the dealer said it was base he wasn’t lying! All the wiring was there, so everything was plug and play. I really like the black Baja wheels, especially with black lug nuts. I’ll try to take a pic of it tomorrow.

 

So, I took a metric shit-ton of pictures at Raceway Park on Saturday, and I inevitably missed a few of the Toyota truck pictures; We'll start with this 2005 AC TRD Sport (and yes, there is a blue 2nd Gen Tundy in the background of first photo that I somehow missed )...

Not having intermittent wipers is the only thing I genuinely hated about my truck until I swapped out the stalk; Why haven’t you made the switch? Unless you live in an area where it doesn’t really rain...?

My friend went to Wildwood, New Jersey yesterday and got this picture of an RC 6-lug being pulled out of the ocean; Can’t tell if it went all the way in or stopped short of getting submerged, but it required heavy-duty machinery of some sort to pull it out...
