OEM lift on Long Bed

I decided to go with the OEM lift kit.. because it comes with warranty, trade in, dealer installed. Blah blah. Anyway, I have a 21 sport long bed and just dropped my truck off to have the kit installed. Seems like they are working on it now, because I just got some alerts from the Toyota app saying my doors are unlocked. I’ll keep y’all posted. Anyone out there running rims with a -10 (or greater offset) with this particular lift? If so post pictures please even better if it’s MGM color.

 

Interested! As far as I know, the OEM lift kit was supposedly not approved for long beds. Keep us updated, and would be interested to know which dealership.

I get your point, but it seems like we are splitting hairs here.

 

I’ve called almost every dealer in WA to see if I could get it installed and all but one have said no. We will see if it can be done by this afternoon!

Driving it right now. It’s a little bit stiffer but not noticeable on the freeway.

I asked my dealer about getting it done on my 2020 DCLB and they said it’s not compatible with anything but the 2021 Tacoma. I responded that they must have changed a lot more on that 2021 model than is publicly known. That was the end of the conversation.
